Sam Godfrey and his band bring high-energy country classics as well as original tunes to a show that is sure to keep you on the dance floor. An up-and-coming country artist from Spartanburg, SC, Sam found his passion for music in 2019 and begin recording sessions with former Marshall Tucker Band guitarist, Rusty Milner.  As he followed his dream, Sam began to blend the sound of the blue collar southern anthems reminiscent of the woods of South Carolina he explored as a child with the steel driven, cowboy country ballads he was introduced to while watching old westerns with his grandpa.  With a burning passion to keep the old soul of country music relevant, Sam Godfrey has taken the stage at AU President’s Gala at Henderson Auditorium, Whiskey Cowgirl, Preservation Pub, Mill Town Players Theatre, as well as other theaters and festivals across the Southeast.
